Ingles Markets is taking you on a road trip to show all the Carolinas have to offer. There’s so much to do and many places to explore. Chris Bainbridge of Ingles Markets takes you to Greenville, SC. where they celebrate Halloween in a genuinely wild fashion. Joining him is his eight-year-old Cate, as they explore a world of lions, monkeys, and leopards.
If you’re looking for something to do for Halloween, Greenville Zoo is the place to be. They’ve been welcoming visitors since the 1960s. In a year when trick-or-treating is up in the air, the Greenville Zoo is the perfect destination for candy and critters. Boo in the Zoo wraps up this weekend, October 31st and November 1st, from 3 pm to 8 pm.
Of course, it isn’t a Halloween celebration without candy, and you can bet there will be tons of it at Boo in the Zoo. So, wear your favorite costume, mask, and bring your bags for trick-or-treating. There are plenty of attractions to enjoy as well. There’s Dragon Alley with friendly inflatables and some fun toys. Stop by Princess castle, which is sure to be as much of a hit for your little princess as it was for Princess Catherine. Don’t miss the extinct species graveyard, which is the right combination of educational and scary.
The Greenville Zoo is a year-round destination. All proceeds from Boo in the Zoo go to help fund many of the great work they do, not just for the animals that call this place home but also for wildlife conservation efforts. So, when you visit to see the animals, you’re helping distant cousins of Chuma (lion) and Frank (red panda).
Whether you’re into birds of prey, baby monkeys, or in the mood for fun trick-or-treating, you can’t go wrong at the Greenville Zoo. You can purchase tickets online and book your timed entry. Take a walk on the wild side this Halloween. Grab your favorite caped crusader, and head over to Boo in the Zoo.
