There are few things that encapsulate that roaring 20’s vibe that put Asheville on the map as a good old-fashioned speakeasy. Well, we’re visiting a brand new establishment that brings that 1920’s flavor to a 2020’s world.
Welcome to The Draftsman. Located down a back alley and heading in through a basement entrance, this lively lounge has found its way to Asheville thanks to the Restoration Hotel, which by the way has a much grander and more beautiful entrance upstairs.
We’re diving into the dim mood lighting, crafty cocktails, and fun and excitement of this downstairs destination.
Whether you’re gearing up for a night on the town or settling in for some fun with friends, The Draftsman is a great place for a pop-in or a plop-down. And with an open bar tab – these awesome arcade games are free.
We’re talking classics like Pac Man, Donkey Kong, and more. And these games aren’t the only fun to be had here.
Boutique bowling has made its way to downtown Asheville. We had some big fun in Knoxville at Maple Hall on a previous show and this place has that same swanky feel getting you all set up to try and knock ‘em all down.
By the way, bowling isn’t the only game here. They’ve got pool table, ski ball, pin ball, and more.
And of course you can’t have a respectable speakeasy without great drinks – and boy do they have great drinks. And tasty definitely applies to the food here as well. From awesome shareables to amazing entrees to delectable desserts, the Draftsman is fully capable of filling you up.
So come on down for a good time. Join in the fun and games. And dive into the ultimate fusion of nostalgia and modern entertainment.
